Tanzania: Maritime Disasters Hit Tanzania

Saturday night's tragedy off the coast of Zanzibar is the latest of a string of maritime accidents in Tanzania. In 1996, a similarly overloaded vessel, the MV Bukoba, capsized in Lake Victoria, killing at least 890 people.
